Job Description

 The Securities and Exchange Commission, a statutory body responsible for regulating the securities industry in Ghana, invites qualified Ghanaians to apply for the post of: DUTIES The applicant will report to the Head, Legal and Enforcement and assist with Ensuring compliance by market operators of the provisions of the securities industry laws including licensing, surveillance and inspections of the market operators and maintaining appropriate registers. Handling all litigations for and on behalf of the Commission. Ensuring that the Commission complies with all its statutory requirements under the securities industry laws. Acting as legal counsel for the Commission during administrative hearings of the Commission. Enforcement of the Commission’s powers under the securities industry laws. Board Secretarial duties Required Skills or Experience

REQUIREMENTS
The applicant should have the following qualifications: BL with a minimum of 6 years post qualification working experience A Master’s Degree in a relevant field will be an advantage Knowledge and experience in securities regulations Must be computer literate
