Cashier at Teledata Ict
Primary Purpose of the Position
To handle the incoming and outgoing payments from customers and suppliers.
Essential Functions /Duties of the Position:
- Receive payment by cash, cheque and bank debits.
- Issue receipts, refund, credits or change due to the customers.
- Maintain and reconcile petty cash imprest.
- Proactively advise and introduce new solutions to solve client’s business needs.
- Deposit cash and cheque into company’s bank accounts.
- Generate and pro-rate invoices
- Key all necessary entries into the accounting software.
Required Skills or Experience
Education and Experience
An HND in Accountancy
2 to 3year experience as a cashier
Competencies/skills
- Knowledge of bookkeeping
- Knowledge in basic mathematics
- Skills in Handling and counting cash
- Basic Computer Knowledge
