Call for Experts:
DAI is looking for experts for various anticipated
DFID-funded private sector development programmes in West
Africa. The programmes will be based in Ghana
and will cover various countries in West Africa.
Their objectives are to create economic and employment opportunities by using a
Making Markets Work for the Poor (M4P) approach to facilitate systemic and
lasting change to ensure sustainable and efficient market opportunities.
Specific areas of focus will include improving the supply and trade of staple
foods, creating economic opportunities for communities affected by the oil
industry, capacity and skill building, as well as improved productivity and
trade policy.
DAI is currently
recruiting for a number of positions:
• Experienced Team Leaders, with knowledge of DFID’s M4P
approach
• M4P and Market Development Experts (Storage, Trade Policy,
Market Systems in Grains and Staple Foods)

Requirements:
• Relevant experience in GHANA
and/or West/Sub-Saharan Africa;
• A minimum of 5 years successful working experience in one
(or more) of the possible technical areas in this project;
• Experience working
on international donor funded programmes
• Excellent English
communication skills
• French language skills would be an advantage
