Job Description : Head Mechanic – Diesel Trucks Job Purpose: To repair and carry out routine maintenance to all types of diesel trucks in the company’s fleet in a safe and effective manner. Areas of Responsibility and Key Tasks: ?Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair all types of diesel trucks ?Perform routine maintenance on all types of diesel trucks ?Practice work place safety ?Perform other related duties Knowledge, skills and abilities ?Experience in repairing diesel tippers (Cummins engines preferably) ?HND/ DEGREE in Mechanic Engineering or a relevant subject ?Candidates should be willing to travel and work outside Ghana ?Knowledge of parts and equipment for diesel trucks ?Knowledge of safety for diesel trucks ?Knowledge of work place safety requirements and procedures ?Effective verbal and listening communication skills ?Ability to communicate effectively in English, including reading and writing ?Honesty ?Flexibility
